too many adventures...no time to blog

Sometimes I forget about my blog because I am just enjoying my life!
But a little picture recap of such a great summer I feel is needed...

Utah Valley Half marathon again.
Katie and I ran this race side by side. Most of the time Katie pushing me to keep going. This race was very much symbolic of our friendship and I felt blessed to have Katie  by my side through this race, and life! Reached my goal and beat my time from last year and felt great.

I hadn't done a show since high school, I decided to try something new and brought out my tapping shoes. This show was so much fun and I got to meet and get close to such a great group of people. Being back on stage was just what I needed!

Spending Time with My Family

 Steph visiting!

It's amazing how when you get older your family becomes your best friends!
This little girl can just steal your heart with those beautiful blue eyes. I have found that the new additions to our family (my nieces and nephews) bring so much joy into my life all with their own style and flair. Little brooklyn here always makes me laugh and smile. It makes me so incredibly happy when she wants her auntie nenna and lets it known by pointing to me and screaming for me! I love her so much!
Nate's Baptism. I am so proud of my oldest nephew for getting baptized. I remember when he was born I thought by the time he got baptized I was going to be so old. I can't believe time has gone by so fast and now i'm that old lady I thought about. As he stood and looked over the crowd after receive the holy ghost I could see the light shining through him and tears came to my eyes and I felt so proud of this young man! I love you Nate!

My Dear Baby Bently
My new little nephew was born on July 25, 2012, I got to go to the hospital during my lunch break and go visit. I can't even imagine the love i'm going to have for my kids because the love I have for this little one is just beyond words and he isn't even mine! I love him and he brings me so much joy! I am so proud of my sister and am blessed to have another great example of a wonderful mother in my life.

cutest picture ever!? I think yes!

Blessed with Wonderful people in my life...and too much fun!

These great girls have been in my life since I was very young. This summer we have over exceeded our usual once a year hang out and I am so glad that we did! Britt moved to hawaii a few weeks ago and with that we tried to get together more and we succeeded. It is weird how when someone your close to starts to leave is when you realize you don't want to say goodbye. Even though I didn't do much with Britt before after every time of hanging out it would be...ok when can we do something else so we can put off this goodbye. Well it finally happened and I am so excited for Britt and all the adventures she is going to have in Hawaii and I know that when she comes home we will all pick up right where we left off because that is what best friends do!

This Girl here we are kindred spirits. She is now in texas and then will come back and go back to school. We only get to see each other for the summer and some occasional weekends during the school year but we have great adventures together and our skype dates are the best! I love her!

This girl here, man i don't know what I would do without her. She is one of those people you can't explain it they just..get you! We have become so close over the last few years and could just sit and talk for hours but also have plenty of adventures together. She is leaving to China in a few weeks and I don't know what I am going to do. We just don't talk about it! But I am really going to miss her while she is gone and am counting down the days till she is home.

Not only one day will she be my sister but she is also my best friend. How am I so lucky!? I could be attached to her at the hip and never get sick of her or be bored! We have way too much fun together even when we sit and do nothing.

traditional raptures game and funny faces pitures...

Another Race...R-scape
 eddie the yetti

For work again this year we did the 18 hours of Ogden race. I ran two 6 mile loops of a trail in Ogden. One I ran and 10 and the other at about 4 a.m. With not having much sleep I thought i did a good job and felt accomplished. After running through the beautiful trails in the evening and looking out over the city makes me really want to take up more trail running. Maybe a goal for next year....!?
Andrushko in...Harris out!

We are TOO adventurous....
Friday day off..what do you do?
Oh we just go and float/survived the odgen river!

 Driving to take off..

 So ready to do this!

 Just enjoying ourselves
Until we get the hard and scary rapid parts then somehow this happens. I'm all alone and Syd and Kendra are running into some tree some how..

syd taking on the tree all by her self...
 ...and the tree won

 Michael Phelps right here
It was alot harder then we thought it was going to be. Definitely a good work out when the current is taking you right into some trees and bushes and you have to swim the other way...in a tube!
 But we survived
 We conquered
 and were even first
with only one battle wound! :( sorry syd!
It was such a fun day I am so glad that we were adventurous and brave and conquered the river of Ogden..might have to make this a new tradition! Whose in for next year!?
