A wondering mind..

So apparently I like to deep think sometimes....

Have you ever noticed we are creatures of repetition. This came to my attention when my friend pointed out that we automatically get out of the shower or drying off anytime and we always do it the same way...think about it...true right!? When we drive to school or work (or any other daily activity) we usually always take the same route. I realized this when ever morning I pass the same biker coming down two hundred north. We pass at the stop light at the same time and everyday we make eye contact. Some form of goodmorning I guess. I also notice that when going to study I automatically go to one side of the library ALWAYS- I wonder why? I could be missing out on a whole new life over there on the other side, a new perspective and maybe even a new friend yet it is like it is a forbidden, restricted area in my brain. So why do we do this, as human? Get so stuck in our ways without even realizing it? One simple change in our routine could change our whole life...or will continuing on the same routine do that? All I know is I want to see the world differently, in a new way so to start tomorrow I am going to be a rebel and sit on the other side of the library...

Also have you ever noticed that when you met someone new then for some reason you see them ALL THE TIME!? It makes me wonder were they always around before you just didn't realize because you didn't know them and now you do know who they are so you notice them. Or is it just that once you meet someone they start stalking you so they are always around!?

In psychology we learned about how our eyes see three colors and it gets interpreted and sent to your brain. My question is do we all see the same color? How you learn colors is by someone telling you the sky is blue, the grass is the color green. But what if your blue sky and my blue sky are a different blue. Your green grass and my green grass are different shades. Is the world you are seeing the same world someone else is seeing?

I like to people watch and sometimes I can't help it when I pass people driving and I look at them. It is so fascinating to me that there are so many people driving and each one has a reason to be driving and a destination they are trying to get to. Not only that but they all have their own life story! Sometimes I like to make up their stories as I see them and try to guess where they are going or why they are driving this exact same road as me.

....and now you see why I have a hard time focusing on my homework!

Sometimes I have a life

Although I feel most of my time is put towards studying for my Pahophysiology class I guess I still know how to have a little fun! :) I just found out how to do these fun little collages and i'm a little addicted...

Kevin took all of us to a Raptures Game! I have been to a Rapture game every summer since I have met Jake. I was very thankful to be invited still this year with Jake gone! We had a good time playing the face game (move your face very fast and as much as you can and take a picture) if you couldn't tell!
Jessica invited me to come with her and some of her friends to a pole dancing class. It was so much fun and such a work out!
Heather came and visited me this weekend! It was really fun to see her and be able to spend some time with her! Kendra invited us over and Mandy taught us all how to do our own glitter toes! They turned out amazing!! Very fun, easy and inexpensive- thank you Mandy!
While heather was here we got ticket to go see Mary Poppins. Heather, kaitlyn and I all went to olive garden and ate way too much food then headed to the show. We had amazing seats- like 6 rows...from the back on the top balcony. I know jealous right! But it was still amazing! The seats aren't what I have to complain about- more like the people in the seats. (stop reading if you have a weak stomach) About 5 min before intermission the lady next to me started coughing next thing I know she was throwing up next to me. I freaked out- scooted as far as I could and berried my head into heather. It was the nastiest thing of my entire life!! It got all over my chair but thank goodness it didn't get on me- only my purse. We moved during intermission and the rest of the show was wonderful!! It was quite the traumatic experience!

We had a fun sleep over then the next evening Grandma Oram made us a great dinner and had fun catching up with some old friends. Thank you heather for coming and spending some time with me!

Go big or don't do it at all!

I have never had the desire to do this before. I have always poked fun at people for doing this. I don't know how I am going to do this. I want to over come one of my weaknesses. Be in control and I know the only way I will be able to do that is to go big and stop completely. So welcome to...
NO SUGAR SEPTEMBER
No more of this...

(I know you may be thinking oatmeal is okay to eat...not how i like it: maple and brown sugar of course with more sugar added- don't judge)
AND MORE....

Which honestly i'm okay with!!

I am in control!!
