What a week!

Well it has been a little longer then a week since Jake has been out but it has felt like alot longer then that! It has sure been a week. I think I have gone through every emotion possible. But that is normal right!? After many emotions I feel like when I calm down and think about everything and actually have my head screwed on straight (as stratight as it goes) that it will all be ok. I am go grateful for the things Jake is doing and will do while on his mission! I am also very thankful to all those who haved helped me through this time and for all the support. Thank you for those who have been there to listen to me talk and talk for hours, for those who have been there for me to cry on their shoulders, for those who have made me smile and laugh, for all the hugs and  the great advice that I have recived through this time. You know who you are and THANK YOU!! :)

P.S. If you would like to know how Jake is doing and read parts of his letters you can follow the blog- storiesoftonga.blogspot.com updated by his sister Kendra!

The Final Goodbye- Onto a whole new adventure

Well for the past two years I have known this kid. This kids name is Jacob Aaron Rose. Over the last few years we have become very close and he has become my best friend. We have done almost everything together. Went througth great and hard times. Have had many laughs and cries together and I have felt so blessed to have him in my life. He has taught me so much and has been there for me every step of the way even when people have walked out on me. He has made me so incredibly happy and has served me with all of his heart. He probably has the biggest heart of almost anyone that I know! I just truely feel so blessed to have him in my life for the last two years! Jake has been working hard and got his mission papers in, then he got his call, his journey went on as he packed and got things ready  to go and now Wednesday January 5, 2011 Jake Left on his mission. He got called to Tonga Nuku'alofa! He is now a missionary of the lord and is working to go to Tonga and touch peoples hearts and share the gospel to them. I am so proud of him and the things that he is going to be accomplishing. He is going to be such an amazing missionary and I am so excited for the adventures that he is going to be going through. He is a great example to me and makes me want to do better on the adventures that I am starting on also. I will never forget you Jacob and thank you for all the many memories and many more things you have given me and done for me! I can not thank you for truely changing my life for the better! I love you and my prayers and thoughts are with you!! Good luck out there- I know you will be so AMAZINGl!!

Oh So Many Adventures

Well these Last few weeks have been well...CRAZY! With Jake leaving everyone and both of us have been trying to squeeze everything we can in. But it has been so much fun! First my work Christmas party- ugly sweaters baby!
Then the next day was Jake's family breakfast then Family Pictures!

What a cute family!! I love them! That in the middle is Jake's Little Nephew. Oh and you can't forget the sexy picture of Kendrea! haha Me and Jake got a pictrue just for fun also!  That night Jake's Grandparents invited Jake and I to The Mormon Tabernacle Christmas concert with David Archuleta! It was so amazing! Thank you so much for the great night!

Here comes Christmas Eve- Family came over for a big dinner and opening of a few presents! It was great to be with family!
And then there was one...Christmas was a fun day and probably the most busy one I have ever had! But it was great!! Thank you everyone for such a memorable Christmas! Just a few pictures...

Matchy Matchy me and kendra- we didn't plan that! Ever had Mcdonalds on Christmas...I have! :)
Next we have Jake's Birthday AND his Farewell talk in church. It was on Faith and he did such a great job!! It was a fun way to celebrate his birthday!

I know a lot of pictures! But there were alot of people! It was such a great time- Jake got a little crazy but thats why he is my favorite!

The next adventure was quite a fun one! Me Katie and Jacob went to Katies cabin and went snow mobiling! It was so much fun with our atempts of sledding, walking back up the hill, going fast on the snow mobiles and laughing so much!! Thank you Katie!

It came time to start saying goodbyes. My family got together to exchange christmas presents and we went to tangled. Oh how I love that movie. We all came back to open presents and then it came time for jake and I to leave. This was the last time Jake was going to see my family for two years. It was a sad goodbye. I don't thinkk I have really cried like I did that night for awhile. Jake was so cute and had such a hard time!
Nate couldn't stop hugging Jake- It was a sad good thing!

Our Adventures are starting to dwindle down. This time we took our adventures up into the mountains to do snowboarding at powder mountain. We got a big group together and went up new years eve to party on the mountain. Kevin, Lorin, Kendra, Lance, Jessica, Kyle, Mike, Syd, Me and Jake. What a party!! Thank you everyone for caming and celebrating the new year!!

Another going away party...This was for all the Grandparents and Jake's family to come say their goodbyes.

What many great adventures we have had. I have loved every minute of every adventure!
