Change can be good!

I have been thinking about cutting my hair for quite sometime now. I have kinda been putting it off because Jake hasn't wanted me to cut it. I told him I was going to wait till he left but then I he decided he wanted to see it short before he left. So here is the documentary of the drastic hair change!

Yes Jake really did cut my hair. If you don't believe me watch the video. Didn't he do such a great job!! I love my new hair style so much! Thank you so much Janeal for being so talented and willing to always do my hair even though you never know how I will act you never let me down! Thank you!! :)

A Week Of Lights

This week has been very exciting and eventful. Every night after work I have had something going on. But I love it that way! To start off the week I went to the zoo lights with Jake, Kendra, Lance, Kevin and Kids. It was so fun to see the pretty lights all over the place and feel the Christmas spirit in the air.

They had a little baby monkey that I wanted to just take home with me! It was so cute!!

I have never been to the zoo with the tigers up and moving around. They are always laying there being lazy but this time they were walking around and It was so cool. They are HUGE!!!
I don't know what it is about christmas lights wrapped around trees but I love it!
The reindeer taking a little rest before their big night coming up!

The next night Jake and I went down to Temple Square lights with Kendra, Lance and Lance's brothers and their wives. We parked a couple blocks away and met them at the Joseph Smith building. We were in a hurry to get to them so me and Kendra were weaving through people left and right. Jake was keeping up pretty close behind us, then we got out of the crowd. We turned around and Lance was barely in sight. So our efforts to get through the crowd quickly were completely pointless because we had to stand there and wait for Lance. We finally all met up and walked all around the lights. Going to see the lights is one thing that I look forward to every Christmas season. Like I said there is just something about Christmas trees covered in lights! After we walked around for a bit we went to Tim and Cami's house for hot chocolate. It was so much fun talking and laughing with all of them. Thank you for letting Jake and I tag along!!

A night in the spot light for Ruthie. She was performing her "Santa Baby" dance in her Christmas dance recital. She was so cute up their in her red tutu! She was the best up there! Ruthie walked onto the stage and pretty much kicked a girl off of her colored dot. Once that got settled she gave a big smile and went on with no problem. After she got done performing she walked off the stage waving to everyone. She was so super cute I was so proud of her!

Garrett loved watching the dancers. You could hardly get him to look away, he was so entertained!
I thought this picture was super cute. Ruthie loves her Jacob!
What can I say I am a proud aunt! I love you Ruthie!!

JAZZ GAME

Me and Jake got tickets from Jake's friend Greg Tanner to go to the Jazz vs. Miami Heat game. We have been so exited to go for weeks. We went and got matching jerseys which were freakin AWESOME!!
On Wednesday the 8th of December I took my last final for the semester. I am finally done for a few weeks and I got a great reward for all my work. I got to go a great jazz game with my favorite person! Me and Jake got a bite to eat and rushed to the jazz game pumped, in our jerseys and ready to go. We haven't been to a jazz game since our first date together two years ago. So this was long waited for!! We went to pick up our tickets at will call. We went to one window and the lady there said there was nothing charged to Jake's card in other words...NO TICKETS! We went to another window of a guy with a different computer system still same thing, we had no tickets here! We started to get a little nervous and I could tell Jake was starting to get really down. They sent us to another desk to page Greg who got us the tickets. Greg came and got us and took us into some back offices and didn't know exactly what was going on. Thank goodness he has someone looking for other tickets for us and good news they were on a fire sale. So he really got us a better deal. Closer seats for a lower price. I would say worth the little bit of a stress moment we went through! So we got in and had such a fun time watching the game, bring back so many memories from our first date. Even though the Jazz lost which was really a bumber. I had a great time at the game cheering loud and having a good time! Thank you Greg for getting us those tickets and thank you Jake for taking me out and making it a great night!!:)

Last time here for two years!!

A Night In the Lights

Katie, Jake and I went an got hot chocolate and went to walk through the Layton City Lights. There aren't much words to say about this experience besides way way fun! I don't think I have laughed this hard in a long while. I know there is a lot of pictures but they are better then any words could say. Thank you guys for such a fun night...I sure am going to miss both of you soon!

Just don't ask!!! :)

Thanksgiving!

THE BIG STORM!!! There was a storm that was talked up to be the biggest storm ever! Schools closed and people were told not to drive anywhere. People were starting to freak out going to stores to get things they need to stay in their house for the Thanksgiving weekend. When the storm came it was hardly a storm at all. Only a couple of inches fell with some strong winds. After about an hour of the "worst storm ever" there was enough snow to play in! Katie Nelson, Jake and I all got our gear on and had a fun time with what the BLIZZARD brought.

The next day My family and I headed up to Idaho for our last "Idaho thanksgiving." Ever since I can remember we have been going up to Idaho for thanksgiving spending it with my grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Many great traditions have been carried on through the years. I drove down with Janeal, Terry, and Tyler. It took us twice as long to get to our destination then it usually does. I guess the Blizzard did do some damage. After 4 hours of driving we made it safe. It was such a fun weekend with all the family filled with food, laughter and many more memories!
Me and Janeal were just a little squshed on the ride down the snowboards needed their own seat
First time ever being involved in BLACK FRIDAY!!
The only place we spent money was McDonalds. HAHA
One of my favorite things during Thanksgiving in Idaho is the day at the gym. Playing Volley Ball, Soccer and just havin a good time!
My cute little nephew kept us very entertained all weekend. He is so funny!
DEAL OR NO DEAL. The exciting game over the weekend. We had competitions to see who could get the highest. First mom, then tyler then I beat them all with getting 1,000,000 dollars...TWICE! I think I belong on the show!
