A day full of love

Yesterday was a fantastic day! It was Valentines Day! I don't know why but I just love holiday's big or small they set one day away from all the rest and gives you something to be really excited about!

Starting the day off my wonderful mother had a car and candy waiting for me as I walked out the door

I had to take a test (happy valentines day to me)...

But then the day was full of fun, joy and so much love!

I went to lunch with Kendra to Subway (because she is really healthy and I just like to pretend) and had a great time talking and visiting some more people I love- some of Kendra's family!

Then off to my magical date with my dear friend Sydney. We both have missionaries who are best friends, we decided to go somewhere that we had all been to together....

I am so loved and so thankful for the people who care about me. Lance got me beautiful flowers and made me so happy! 

On this day of love I thought about all those people who say this is the lamest holiday or they get depressed when valentines day comes around. I feel bad for them because they are missing out on all the people that love them and the true meaning of the holiday. LOVE. It doesn't matter if it is a significant other, a family member, friend, neighbor or complete stranger. Take the time to show love to those around you! 

 I took the day to think about the people I love and all the love I feel from other and am grateful for.

A little get away

I got to go play with Sydney this last weekend. I have really missed her and loved spending time with her again, meeting new people and making more memories! I got there Friday evening we just got ready for the white out dance then hung out. We didn't end up leaving till 12 to go to the dance and being up at 6 that morning I was ready to head to bed. But Sydney wouldn't allow it so off to the party we went. It was really fun just dancing and hanging with Syd and the new friends I made. 

I had never been to a BYU game and luckily Sydney found me a ticket so that I could go with her. It was so much fun! I miss going to football games so it was really fun to go to a big one like this!

 I had heard so much about this sammy's place so of course we had to go give it a try even with the chilly weather. Nin my new friend was so sweet and bought my ice cream. They have these famous pie shakes, they take a pie and put it in the ice cream- oh boy it was pretty amazing!

 We went over to a some friends house after and talked lots and played some games. I don't think I have laughed so hard in a really long time. Playing the haha (putting your head on someone stomach and saying ha) game, this is so much fun game and attempting to tell scary stories. It was a really fun night and again fun to meet new people. 

Then the final day of my mini trip came. We went to church and I got to listen to Sydney play beautifully for her roommate who sang. They did a great job! Then we came back and ate some food and sang some songs. Then I had to be on my way I was giving Robby a ride home and we convinced Sydney to come with us so we jammed and talked the whole way home.

 It was so much fun to spend that time with Sydney! I really have missed her and can't wait for our next adventure together! Love you Sydney- Thanks again! :)

Getting Down and Dirty

Some of the girls from my work signed up to play mud volley ball for South Ogden days. We came prepared and ready to dominate! Our game faces were so on.

We didn't get as muddy as I hoped nor did we play as well as we thought we would. One point to too many to count isn't what we had in mind. But it was a blast getting down and dirty in the mud! I love my work and the girls I work with so much! It is just a blast!
